Inspired by the more traditional forms of furniture generally associated with the the French Monarchs, this chair contrasts a refined look with an antique distressed finish, a look that has come to be known as shabby chic. Constructed from solid teak wood, the hand carved frame is finished in a antique cream distress with dull gold highlights. Upholstered in a fine olive velvet with contrasting antique brass thumb tacks.
