The successful undertaking of any interior project and completion of the brief set out with the client is achieved through careful project planning and dedicated work.

Our team of designers were given 29 days from brief to completion. This included wall paints, inserting new doors, manufacturing new furniture as well as re-working existing pieces, mirror installations, electric work and tastefully accessorizing the entire area.

The space aimed to serve as a live-work environment that would embody the comfort and aesthetic qualities of a home while retaining formal spaces, privacy, security and order of a workplace. The client wanted a work space that did not look or feel like an office. Comfort and elegance were the priority.

Mixed-use areas such as the reception, formal living room, dining and parts of the study were intended not to be fussy or excessively elaborate, but liveable and accessible. The overall aesthetic is a somewhat subdued classic and contemporary mix, where equal importance is placed on function and form. With high quality yet understated materials, each space offers luxury without being overwhelming or distracting.

Certain elements of furniture that could be retained were re-worked into the new interior layout. This entailed repair, re-upholstery and the application of new finishes, which helped to save on the overall cost of the project and made the most of the limited time available.

We paid close attention to privacy and security when designing these spaces, both being fundamental in working environments. The reception room utilizes frosted glass that provides natural light with security as well as the added benefit of good acoustic isolation to maintain a consistent and calm internal atmosphere.
